An acrylic painting on wood board titled Emancipated Woman by listed American artist Ronald Ahlstrom (1922-2012). This work features a woman with short blonde hair and large eyes smoking a cigarette, seated on a round cushion. The artist’s stamped monogram is present to the lower right. The work is titled and signed to the verso; it is mounted on a white board and presented without glass in a light brown wood frame.

- scratches and spots of paint loss scattered throughout painting; small puncture on lower right side of mounted white surface; small hole present in upper central area of mounted white surface; smudge marks throughout white surface; scratches and stains throughout frame; scratched out handwriting present throughout verso.
