A Queen Anne style chinoiserie writing desk and a Chinese inspired chair. This unique desk has multiple drawers and storage to the top over three center drawers to the front. The desk features a painted faux marble wooden frame with gold leaf panels and drawer fronts embellished with painted floral motifs throughout. It stands on four cabriole legs and has a fully finished back with a rich lacquered finish. The desk is presented with a Chinese inspired chair having a complementary finish with a gold leaf accented back spat, cushioned seat, and straight legs terminating in ox hoof feet. The pieces are unmarked.
