Item Details
A collection of vintage vanity items. This selection includes a hair brush and a clothes brush. These pieces features sterling handles with guilloche enameled handles in a sunrise design. These pieces are stamped with the Alexander Clark Co. Ltd. maker’s mark alongside Birmingham hallmarks, which date these pieces to 1929. The lot also includes a sterling inkwell with a blue guilloche enameled lid and round base. It is stamped with an unidentified maker’s mark alongside Birmingham hallmarks that date the piece to 1942.
Condition
- some surface wear to handles including scratches and tarnish; wear and discoloration to bristles; areas of pitting, especially to interior of inkwell.
