An etching on paper of a Dutch landscape by Belgian artist Jos. Van Hoof (1889-1937). This detailed piece depicts landscape scattered with spindly saplings, a line of trees visible to one edge and a large windmill visible to the other. The piece, numbered what seems to read ‘49/100’ and is signed in pencil along its lower margin, is matted under protective glazing in a slim wood frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.

Condition

- diagonal crease in paper from upper left corner toward center; some toning to print and mat; scuffing, abrasions and wear to frame; some debris to and under glass; wear to verso.
