A watercolor painting on paper of a fisherman, titled Snagged, by the listed artist Walter Simpson Parke (born 1909). This artwork depicts a angler standing, ankle-deep, in the rushing water of a wide river, a trashing fish at the end of his line. This painterly piece is signed to the lower right, and includes a title and label bearing the artist’s name to the upper left of its verso. It is matted under glass and is presented in a wooden frame with a gold tone fillet and a wire for hanging.
