De Poolee Gouache Paintings of a Village
Item Details
A pair of gouache paintings on canvas of a village, by an artist appearing to sign the pieces ‘De Poolee.’ The pieces depict what appears to be the same down as seen in spring and fall, both scenes filled with heavily-dressed figures surrounded by houses and trees. They each are signed toward the upper part of their left edges, and are presented in gold tone frames with textile matting and wires for hanging.

- fair; edge wear to frame; stains and residue to matting; slightly dusty.
