A handwoven wool Bokhara area rug. This features the traditional octagonal gul pattern to center, here in two rows. The predominate color is a deep red, with pale blue, ivory and black accents. This rug has a four-panel border to each end, along with short fringes to either end and overcast edges. It is unmarked.

Condition

- significant loss to pile.
- fraying at edges and loss of fringe on ends.
- some discoloration.
