A mixed media artwork titled Jade World by artist John Ford. This work features what appears to be a washes of chalky turquoise and salmon pink, mounted underneath an overlapping arrangement of painted twine strung to a perimeter of nails. The string has been left unpainted in a few patches, giving the impression of geometric shapes drawn in white lines. This work is mounted under acrylic glass in a white and silver tone shadowbox-style frame, with a hanging wire and a pencil notation reading ‘Jade World, John Ford, 1971’ to its verso.
