A semi-antique hand-knotted Feraghan area rug. This wool rug features a floral lattice pattern across the field in a palette of red, green, blue, midnight blue, and beige, flanked by large rounded blossoms and garlands. It has a wide primary border is deep scarlet with a stylized herati pattern, flanked by meander floral guard borders. It has overcast selvedge edges and applied cotton fringe, likely the result of a restoration.
