Item Details

A framed Japanese shin-hanga woodblock print. The work depicts a large gate, possibly the entrance to KIyomizu-dera in Kyoto, in heavily falling snow. Two figures make their way through the covered streets. A single large red seal is present in the upper left corner. Matted in white with a gold-tone edge and presented in a black and gold-tone frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- toning and stains to print and mat; wear to frame; paper backing is torn.
