An oil painting on canvas board of a woman in the city, by listed New York artist Fannie Saperstein (1896-1995). This work depicts a well-groomed woman, her lips and nails painted red, sitting on a bench at the end of a building-lined street. This piece is signed ‘F. Saperstein’ to its lower left corner, and is presented unframed and without hanging hardware.

- poor; chips and pieces missing from canvas board; heavy wear to edges of canvas board and edges of painting; toning throughout verso of canvas board.
