A selection of hand-colored serigraphs signed ‘Sheherazad’. These ten prints on paper depict various figures posed in full body, or close portraiture, defined by loose, contour linework. They pose next to a surreal composition of a general, dove and horse outside of a church, nude while clutching at the reigns of multiple horses, or laying next to doves. The renderings are stylized and illustrative, eight of which are further reinforced by washes of pigment. To the lower corners of each composition is an in-plate signature. Also included is an informational portfolio, titled I Nomadi, which contains hand-written inscriptions.

Condition

- worn edges and corners; wrinkling; one print is torn and folded; a few minor marks to surface.
