Antique Hoosier Cabinet

Item Details

A circa 1900 antique Hoosier cabinet, in oak. It has an upper hutch, with double doors enclosing a cabinet space with one central shelf, above three drawers. The base would have originally have had an enameled metal top, which is not included and features three drawers to the left, and a cabinet space to the right with a central shelf. The cabinet doors and the drawers of the hutch have glass knobs, and the cabinet doors feature impressed scrollwork foliate motifs.

Condition

- to fair. The metal top of the base is missing, and the top surface of the base is unfinished and has various stains. The left door of the hutch has a crack, and the cabinet door to the base has two glass knobs which were formerly connected, but the glass connector piece is broken.
