Acoma Pueblo Ceramic Miniature and Urubamba Vase
Item Details
A pair of ceramic pieces from the Acoma Pueblo Native American community in New Mexico and a vase from the Pablo Seminario workshop in Urubamba, Peru. The Native American miniature presents a basket form with two bird heads, decorated in an orange and black geometric floral motif on a white glaze. It is signed in ink to the underside. The vase presents a tapering form in earth tone glazes, with a dark band around the middle decorated with abstract yellow flowers. It is marked with the maker’s stamp to the underside.
