Maddox Dressing Table with Mirror and Stool

Item Details

A dressing table by Maddox Tables, in maple, with a mirror and floral fabric upholstered footstool. The table has four drawers with wood knobs and dovetail joints, and stands on cabriolet legs. The tilt-adjustable mirror is also in maple, having an arched shape topped by a scrolled arch pediment with a central finial, and with reeded supports with pointed finials. The stool has an oval top upholstered in off-white fabric with dyed floral motifs, and a skirted base in pink with white floral designs. The stool has a maple base with rounded legs, and is by Cochran Chair Company, labeled to the underside.

Note that the supports of the mirror match the posts of the bed frame in lot 17CIN373-101.

Condition

- light scuffs and scratches to dressing table. One piece of the apron has a darker finish, and may be a replacement.
