Item Details

A Chippendale style mahogany dining table and ten chairs by Stickley. This exquisite double pedestal table has two leaves and features flame mahogany veneer with a fruitwood and oak inlaid marquetry border to the top. The pedestal bases have three legs with hand carved acanthus leaf motifs, brass casters and foot covers. There are two arm chairs and eight Chippendale style side chairs, featuring pierced, carved backsplats and talon-ball feet. The seats have recently been upholstered in an off-white cotton damask with trefoil design. All pieces bear the infamous Stickley ‘brand’ marking on the bottom. Custom pads accompany the table.
