After Marc Chagall Offset Lithograph on Paper "Aleko"
Item Details
An offset lithograph on paper after an original work by well-listed artist Marc Chagall (French, 1887 – 1985). The work depicts a ballerina with a cat face and an umbrella. The piece was intended as costume design for the final scene of the opera Aleko. Marked with the name of the opera and signed in plate to the lower right corner. Housed in a black wood frame under acrylic glass and a single layer of green fabric matting with a black fillet. To the verso is a descriptive label.

- minor wear to the frame; scratches to the acrylic glass.
