Custom Hand-Knotted Chinese Wuhan Area Rug

A custom hand-knotted Chinese Wuhan area rug. The rug displays an expansive rich blue field with foliate and floral patterns in light blue, cream, and pink. The rug features two oval rings of foliate designs over an uninterrupted field. The rug is finished with cotton warp fringe at either end. Rug was custom in Wuhan, China during the 1960s. Unmarked.
