Antique German Language Military Service Shadow Box
Item Details
An antique German language military shadow box. This shadow box honors the military service of a German man with the last name ‘Kuifer’. The German military person served between 1899-1901, and his monochromatic hand-colored portrait is presented at the center between a German Imperial flag and a Persian flag. The piece is adorned by dried flowers, and embroidered ornamentation and lettering.

- toning and foxing throughout matting and image; water spots on matting at bottom; general wear to frame due to age; debris beneath glass.
