Art Deco Nippon Porcelain Urn Lamp

Item Details

An Art Deco hand painted tall Nippon hexagon vase with palm tree and sea scape design. Depicted along the body is a waterscape dotted with palm trees, boats and birds in tonal hues of blue, green and clay. Hand applied gilt painted Greek key, laurel leaf and foliate accents decorate the top and base of the vase. The The vase has been converted to a lamp, thus the mark is covered by the brass toned metal base. The lamp is wired with older wiring, thus untested.

Condition

The porcelain vase is in good shape, it is fixed loosely to the metal base. The lamp is untested due to older wiring. The harp is loose.
