Collection of Japanese Blue and White Crane Dishes
Item Details
A collection of six Japanese blue and white dishes decorated with cranes. Each dish is decorated with the large head and neck of a crane surrounded by stylized waves and geometric patterns in deep cobalt blue underglaze. The dishes are delicately molded to form the neck and outstretched wings of the crane. The exterior rims are decorated with scrolling patterns and are otherwise unmarked.
