An Aeon Chippendale style grandfather clock. This wood frame clock features a broken scroll pediment with carved foliate embellishments and a central finial over an arched glass panel door. The door opens to a clock with silver tone numerals and silver tone facing surrounded by filigree spandrels. The arch features a globe design. The glass panel cabinet door houses three gold tone weights and pendulum. The clock frame includes fluted columns and a carved foliate accent near the base. The piece has a thirty-one day movement and is marked ‘Aeon’ on the dial.
