A vintage Queen Anne style armchair. The mahogany-finished frame features a double-arched crest centered by a shell-molded ornament above a vasiform splat. The shepherd’s crook arms continue to an upholstered, slip seat and the chair rises on cabriole, front legs ending in pad feet. The removable cushion is upholstered in a red and white, striped fabric with a floral design. The chair is unmarked.
