Antique Louis XVI Style Mirrored and Inlaid Armoire
Item Details
An antique Louis XVI style mirrored and inlaid armoire, circa late 19th to early 20th century. The burl-veneered case features a rectangular, breakfront top above a conforming frieze centered by a gilt-metal mount. Directly below is a central, mirrored door with gilt-metal corner mounts flanked by a pair of doors with inlaid, lightwood bands along the borders. The doors are fitted with gilt-metal escutcheons and they open to vacant interiors. The armoire rises on short, square and tapered legs ending in brass tone caps.

Condition
- scattered scratches, scuffs, and veneer chips; right door will not close; small crack near bottom of stile between center door and right door; another crack to left side of cornice near back; missing keys; center door missing escutcheon.
