Three Photographic Prints of Black and White Landscapes

A set of three black-and-white photographic prints on paper. Featured is a photo depicting the dramatic snow-capped mountain peaks of Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. The work is signed in graphite to the lower right with a signature that appears to read ‘Karl Pearse’; however, no clear artist attribution could be made. It is also noted with the image’s location to the lower left. It is matted in white and presented under glass in a black metal frame with hanging wire to the verso. Other prints include a landscape with a tree, signed illegibly in graphite to the lower right, matted in white and presented under glass in a black metal frame with hanging wire to the verso. The set also includes a hand-embellished print titled Tulips in the Rain, signed illegibly in graphite to the lower right, matted in white and presented without glass in a black metal frame.
Condition
- to Fair; two frames show residue under glass; minor overall wear, scuffing and scratching to frames; tulip photo is creased to center with damage and staining to mat; staining and foxing to backings; no glass or hanging hardware to frame of tulip print.
