A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan carpet runner. This wool rug offers a floral motif featuring palmettes, peonies and vine work in a palette of pink, red, green, beige, cream and black. The primary border offers a herati pattern flanked by a barber pole guard border. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges, a short kilim skirt and wool warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
