A pair of watercolor paper cutout painting on paper by an anonymous artist. Each painting depicts elaborate Chinese theatrical masks and attached headdresses. These have been delicately hand trimmed with openwork detailing, and mounted on a mauve silk ground. They are unsigned and presented under glass in wooden frames that are wired for hanging.

Condition

- both images are in good condition; some dirt between glass and image/cloth background, gold tone wood frame showing wear, gold tone is wearing off.
