A Royal Doulton ‘Scaramouche’ jug. This vintage ceramic toby jug depicts the Italian theater character Scaramouche along side comedy and tragedy theater masks and a musical instrument. The piece has a glossy black, brown and peach glaze and is stamped to the underside ‘Royal Doulton England Scaramouche D 6558 COPR 1961’.
