An Art Nouveau gentleman’s dresser with a built-in clock. The chest of drawers dates to the first half of the twentieth century and is made of mixed woods with contrasting wood veneer designs. It has four dovetailed drawers fitted with round brass knobs and brass pulls. The top of the chest has two triangular shaped built-in storage wells with hinged lids, flanking a center built-in De Luxe clock. The clock features a brass bezel and gold tone dial with black Arabic numerals and black hands, and is marked ‘De Luxe – The Lux Clock Mfg. Co., Waterbury, Conn., U.S.A.’ The chest of drawers rests on stacked ball feet, and it is not marked. This item matches item 17DEN088-519.
