An antique hand-knotted Persian Mahal area rug. This rug features repeating crenelated gul patterns throughout in a palette of salmon, light blue, light brown, green and light pink. The central field is enveloped by a major border with a geometric gul motif within the same color scheme, and is finished with black selvedge and natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
