Item Details
A hand-knotted Shiraz area rug. This wool rug features a hooked medallion centered in a lozenge with a geometric floral motif in a palette of red, yellow, green, tan, orange, blue and black. It offers a floral medallion at each corner. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges and a short wool warp fringe at either end. A tag marked ‘Shiraz’ is attached, otherwise unlabeled.
