"Trick Dog" Cast Iron Mechanical Bank

Item Details

A cast iron ‘Trick Dog’ mechanical bank. This mechanical bank by Toscano was produced in the 1950s and features a circular clown in yellow and blue with a black dog which carries a coin in its mouth to the barrel when the lever on the side is pressed. The figures rest on a rectangular green and brown base with yellow lettering to its front which reads ‘Trick Dog’.

Condition

- missing metal hoop and lid to bottom; chips and scratching throughout; discoloration and tarnishing; loss of paint.
