Item Details
A pair of stereoscopes and an assortment of stereoscopic slides. This collection includes two Holmes stereoscopes, one of which is marked to the underside as ‘The ’Perfecscope’’ by Underwood & Underwood, and over twenty black-and-white photographic stereo cards from various publishers including Griffith and the Keystone View Co. Also included is a wood and metal measuring device for stereo cards, marked ‘A. T. S. Co. Pat. Allowed.’
Condition
- to poor; Perfecscope missing handle and one lens; left lens of other stereoscope clouded; damage to eyepieces of both; fading to cards; general wear throughout.
