Thai Nielloware Cedar Lined Sterling Silver Box

Item Details

A Thai nielloware sterling silver box. This is lined in cedar and has been decorated with a chased design of two figures with elaborate headdresses, likely from the Ramayana. It is engraved underneath ‘Bangkok Belles First Place Team- Thailand 1968’ and ‘Made in Siam Sterling’.
