Silver Plate Tea and Coffee Service
Item Details
A silver plate tea and coffee service. This collection includes a small teapot, two medium teapots, a creamer and sugar set, and a coffee pot with ribbed patterns to the bodies and lids. The pots all have pointed black handles. The lot also includes an oval gallery tray with slightly scalloped shaped, pierced sides, and ball feet. The maker’s marks include ‘AM’ within a shield, Cross Arrows, ‘WH’ in an oval cartouche, the hallmarks ‘BD & S,’ and more.
Condition
- to poor; heavy tarnish throughout; rust, especially to undersides; surface wear including scuffs and wear to plating.
