A serigraph, embellished with a hand-written inscription, on paper after a Shaker painting titled Heavenly Tree. This print depicts a bright, simply-rendered tree, heavy with fruit and flowers. Blocks of text are visible above and to either side of the piece, including a line reading ‘this tree was a dream in the year 1855.’ The print is matted under glass in a wooden frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.

- fair; fading to artwork; light toning to print and mat; creases to paper to upper left; abrasions and wear to frame.
