Item Details
An oil painting on canvas. This beach scene uses an impasto technique to create a textured surface and sharp color contrasts. It depicts the view over dune with beach grass and a lonely sailboat pulled up far from the waterline. A seagull flies overhead in the clear sky. It is signed to the lower right corner and appears to read "R. Weston". The piece is presented in a gold tone frame and wired for hanging.
