Antique Pine Dutch Cupboard, Circa 1820-1860

Item Details

An antique pine dutch cupboard, circa 1820-1860. The two-piece case features a flared cornice above a pair of six-light doors with metal knobs flanking a central, three-light panel. The doors open to a shelved interior. Directly below is a high pie shelf over two aligned drawers and two blind-paneled doors. The fronts are fitted with metal knobs and the doors conceal a two-shelf interior. The whole piece rises on stile legs.

Condition

- due to age and use there are varying degrees of wear; a piece of the top left back crown molding is broken off; drawers and interior of lower cabinet is very distressed; wear and scratches to the top of the lower cabinet; hardware shows wear; scratches and splintering near the feet; right drawer has the lower corner broken off; center middle pane of glass has a flaw typical with this type of glass; knobs possibly not original; glass panes are old if not original.
