A Japanese woodblock restrike print on paper titled Bandō Shūka I as Tsukisayo by ukiyo-e master Utagawa Kuniyoshi (歌川 國芳, 1798—1861). This print, the center panel of a triptych, depicts an actor from the play Mimasu mimasu karigane Soga (三升覣雁金曽我), performing in character as a wall comes down behind him. Tajima-ya Saburô is listed in plate as the publisher, and it is dated as the first month of 1850, with Hama and Magome censor stamps. This print is presented unframed.
