A Japanese woodblock restrike print on rice paper titled Shibaraku by mid-19th century artist Hasegawa Sadanobu III (三代 長谷川貞信, 1881-1963). This piece features a Kabuki actor wearing an elaborate costume with vibrant orange, red, and green fabric. Holding a long blue sword, the actor leans to the left, confronting a threat outside the composition. This posthumous print bears calligraphy to the upper and lower right edges, with a red and black seal. The work is presented unframed, without protective covering.

- wear to edges; minor loss to upper left corner and left side of paper, in margins; toning to paper.
