A pair of wooden rush seat side chairs. Each chair features black painted finish and high, straight ladder backs with crest paintings depicting singing birds and blooming flowers, with a palette of yellows, blues, and greens, all set between two tall stiles with elongated acorn finials. The rush seats rise on four round legs with double box stretcher to three sides, and a single stretcher to the back.
