Hitchcock Style Rocking Chair

A Hitchcock style rocking chair. This piece has a walnut stain and features stenciled and painted accents. The crest rail has rounded shoulders with stenciled fruit and foliage detail, above a slat back. The arms swoop outward from the turned stiles, over turned spindles and supports. The seat is slightly contoured, resting atop turned legs and stretchers, fixed to runners. Also included are tie-on white back and seat cushions, with pastel floral stripes.
