A hand-knotted Sino-Persian accent rug. This wool rug, likely made in China, is rendered in a palette of cream, pink, terracotta, and sage. It features a herati field of palmettes, flowers, lancet leaves, and vines over a cream ground. Framing the field are three borders, including a main herati border over cream. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with a short kilim skirt and long fine wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
