An original oil painting on burlap by well-listed Danish painter Jens Kongshammer (1884 – 1974). The image depicts a Parisian street scene along the riverwalk, Notre Dame Cathedral rising in the distance. In the foreground, pedestrians meander along the street and shop at various booths. Artist signature is signed in red to the lower right. This work is mounted in a beveled wood frame with a distressed gold leaf finish, equipped to hang.
Condition
- accretion on painting surface. Minor paint loss throughout. Finish of frame is worn.
