An 1879-S Morgan silver dollar. The coin features a left facing profile of Lady Liberty on the obverse. The reverse depicts a bald eagle clutching an olive branch in one talon and a bundle of arrows in the other, surrounded by the text “United States of America’, “One Dollar”, and “In God We Trust’. Designer: George T. Morgan. Mintage: 9,110,000. Metal Content: 90% silver, 10% Copper. Approximate diameter: 38.1 mm. Approximate weight: 26.73 grams. Condition: Very good – circulated.
