Item Details

An antique hall tree storage bench with mirror. The Victorian hall tree storage bench is made of oak, featuring a scalloped top with applied wood carved designs. There are ornate brass hooks to either side of a mirror, which is recessed into the back board, and the backboard is also embellished with applied wood carvings. The bench seat is rectangular, with a bow front, and it has a hinged lid that opens to storage space within. The arms are curved, and there is a scroll cut skirt along the front. The hall tree rests on straight, square legs and is not marked.
