An acrylic painting on canvas of a townscape by artist Vedanta. This painting depicts a side street that is accented with multiple cobblestone buildings including a cafe and residences. Surrounding the composition is a painted layering of bricks in the formation of a Roman arch, which is rendered to create the illusion of a three-dimensional frame. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature and date, listed 1991. The canvas is wrapped over a wooden stretcher with hanging wire affixed to the verso.
