A hand-colored engraving on a paper folio from the book Costumes of Paris Through the Centuries, published in 1878, edited by F. Roy. The work depicts a grouping of three figures in various forms of dress. Inscriptions in French are present below the figures. The piece is presented beneath an off-white mat in a gold tone frame under glass, wired on the verso.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame finish; discoloration to the paper; foxing.
