An offset lithograph on paperboard after artist Antonio Petruccelli’s 1939 Fortune magazine cover. This print features a round table from an aerial view, which depicts bald men in business suits rendered in a matching fashion staring at documents. To the top margin is a printed inscription denoting the magazine publication, date (October 1939) and pricing. Found to the lower left corner is an in plate signature. The print is presented under single-layered matting in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- matting is warped at lower center; frame has scratches throughout; backing is peeling off and punctured; scratches to print.
