An oil painting on board of hanging mallards. This piece depicts a pair of deceased birds attached to a string mounted to a wall via a nail. The painting is mounted in a black painted gesso and wood frame with a wire present to verso for hanging purposes. No signature is present to the painting.
Condition
- to poor; gesso decoration broken off of frame in several places; paint missing, toning and scuffs marks on painting; backing deteriorated.
